Extra Virgin Olive Oil

from Crete Island

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced by the fruit of specially selected olive groves in south Crete, more specifically situated in Asterousia Mountain range and southern Rethymno.

Prolonged sunshine, warm climate, rocky soil of those regions give a variety of oil with ripe flavor, distinctive aroma of freshly-cut ripe olives and artichoke leaving a peppery aftertaste of herbs as well as bitterness. The fruity character of this olive oil highlights the freshness in salads and blends in harmoniously all the flavors, even in the most demanding dishes. Moreover, its composition, rich in antioxidants, constitutes an important factor of health and youth.
